Talk about Making Bourbon Cheap Again!

Wild Turkey is bringing back its cult-favorite 101 8-Year-Old Bourbon as a permanent addition to its lineup. This bourbon, which hasn’t been widely available in the U.S. for nearly 30 years, started rolling out in April 2025 with a suggested retail price of $45.

This release pays homage to the original Wild Turkey 101, which was famously bottled after eight years at 101 proof. In recent years, Wild Turkey 101 has been a blend of 6- to 8-year-old bourbons, but hardcore fans have long sought the age-stated 8-year version, which was previously sold in Japan.

The tasting notes highlight bold flavors with more complex notes of toffee and clove, along with an even longer finish than traditional Wild Turkey 101.

Are you excited to try it? Keep your eye out, bottles are starting to show up on stores now.
